3. How long does shipping typically take?
Receiving Time = Processing Time + Shipping Time
- Shipping Time: Usually 6–7 business days, depending on your location.
- Processing Time: In-stock orders generally ship the next business day, unless otherwise noted on the product page.
4. What is the difference between an internal hub and a transmission?
- An internal hub is a gear system built into the rear wheel hub. It offers smooth, low-maintenance shifting and protection from dirt and weather—ideal for urban commuting.
- A transmission (usually a derailleur system) uses an external mechanism to shift the chain across multiple cogs. It offers a wider gear range for varied terrain but requires more maintenance and is more exposed to the elements.
5. What is the top speed of your tricycles or bikes?
The top speed depends on the model, motor, rider weight, terrain, and any cargo. On average, Volt Bison electric tricycles and bikes can reach speeds of 20–30 mph.
6. Can my battery be used with any e-bike?
No. Our batteries are specifically designed for certain e-bike models. Always ensure compatibility between the battery, motor, and electrical system before use.
7. How do I charge the battery properly?
You can charge the battery either on or off the e-bike without affecting its lifespan.
- Always use the supplied charger or a compatible charger.
- Interrupting the charging process won’t damage the battery.
Our batteries are designed for long-lasting energy storage and do not suffer from charge memory issues.
8. How long should I charge my battery?
Charging time depends on the battery’s capacity and current charge level. On average, it takes about 4–8 hours to fully charge.
For best results, refer to the manufacturer’s instructions for your specific model.
9. What happens if I charge the battery for too long?
No worries! All our batteries include a Battery Management System (BMS) that protects against:
- Overcharging
- Undervoltage
- Overheating
They also feature single-cell monitoring to ensure safe, efficient charging—even if left plugged in longer.
10. What if a part of my tricycle or bike is damaged? How can I get replacements?
We offer a quality warranty ranging from 6 to 12 months for all critical parts.
- If a part is damaged within this period, we will provide free replacement.
- After the warranty expires, you can still purchase replacement parts directly from us.
